Ms. Salwa Al-Maqatea, a researcher in KISR’s Biotechnology Department, placed third in the Teaching Staff Members category in Kuwait University’s (KU’s) Scientific Poster Day for the science faculties for the 2011–2012 academic year. Ms. Al-Maqatea’s poster was based on the project entitled “Assessment of Airborne Bacteria and Fungi in Indoor and Outdoor Environments.”
Dr. Abdullatif Al-Bader, KU’s President, honored a group of distinguished researchers who had participated in a variety of scientific events organized by KU’s Deputy President for Research during the current academic year.
