SENIOR MICROBIAL BIOCHEMIST Background: The successful candidate will become a member of the Biotechnology Program at KISR. The aim of the program is to develop products and processes in biotechnology of use to Kuwait. Major duties: To conduct research programs on the development of novel bio products for the enhancement of the environment agricultural productivity in Kuwait. Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD in microbial biochemistry, industrial fermentation, chemical engineering or a related field. A minimum of ten years of relevant post-doctoral experience is required. Applicants should have a strong background in industrial microbiology, and hands-on experience in the development and commercialization of bio products. Applicants should have strong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to draft good-quality proposals, and the ability to attract funding, as well as having produced good-quality refereed publications. |
