• Supports the Kuwait Geographic Information Centre (KGIC).

Technical Services Department

• Builds and maintains NSTIC collection.
  
• Organizes information resources.
  
• Develops and maintains resource management system.
  
• Manages and maintains NSTIC iPortal.

Computers & Telecommunication Department

• Supports KISR information technology (IT) applications (hardware and software)
  
• Supports KISR network and Internet infrastructure
  
• Develops and implements information security plans.
  
• Provides Help Desk activities and responds to users’ IT requests.
  
• Supports video-conferencing facilities and distance-learning (KDLC).
  
• Manages and operates Kuwait’s top-level domain name (KWTLD).
