KISR Honors Long-Serving Employees and Scholars who Recently Graduated

Under the auspices of Dr. Naji Al-Mutairi, the Director General, KISR held a ceremony to honor long-serving employees, and KISR employees who graduated in 2011 in their chosen field of study. In his speech, Dr. Al-Mutairi said that KISR needs efficient, hard-working, ambitious, and motivated staff, who have a sincere wish for development to take place. He added that the staff members honored were successful in achieving a remarkable increase in the revenues through new contracts that were signed with national institutions to accomplish research studies and projects and render technical and consultative services. These contracts resulted in the tripling of the revenues, from 2006 to 2009. KISR was successful in establishing alliances with global institutions to accomplish joint research projects that reflect positively on the Kuwait, and help increase its manpower capabilities.
