The book entitled “Nanotechnology for a Better Future” by Prof. Mohammed S. El-Iskandarani won a prize at the Kuwait’s Thirty Sixth Book Fair, 2011. It was awarded the best science publication in Arabic by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
The book has three sections containing ten chapters presenting the results of research on nanotechnology done by scientists over the past thirty years. The book is written in a simple style that suits non-specialist readers. It presents basics of nanotechnology with the help of figures and charts that make it easy to comprehend the subject. The technical terminology used in the book is explained in a small dictionary that is annexed to the book.
