Rehabilitating Kubbar Island's Coral Reef Using Artificial Reefs

Using live coral transplants, coral larval and juvenile reseeding, the EBMMR Program initiated a project to rehabilitate damaged coral reefs at Kubbar Island. Coral transplants and reseeding will take place on both natural reef sites and new artificial reef balls with field measurement and numerical modeling to investigate the reef's water circulation and material transport.
