Desert Agriculture and Ecosystems Program

The Desert Agriculture and Ecosystems (DAE) Program safeguards the health and safety of Kuwait’s population by developing techniques to enhance the quality and availability of locally produced agricultural products. It also develops local strategies to oversee the implementation of plans to repair environmental damage with the goal of conserving biodiversity and enhancing greenery sustainably. These strategies focus on developing methods to assess and measure the degradation of terrestrial ecosystem and propose measures to fully restore them for the provision of greater ecosystem services.
