Atmospheric Corrosion Maps of Kuwait

Creating an atlas of metallic air pollutants

The goal of this project was to establish atmospheric corrosion maps for the most commonly used metallic materials in Kuwait, such as carbon steel, galvanized steel, copper, and anodized aluminium. The importance of this project stemmed from the localized variations of atmospheric pollutants due to the existence of pollutant sources within a small area. This project resulted in an atlas of atmospheric corrosion maps for Kuwait. The results of this project were of significant value to various industries in Kuwait.
