Environmental Radiation Monitoring Network

KISR’s Environmental Radiation Monitoring Network (ERMN) was established to provide a real time radiation dose assessment of the terrestrial and marine environment. in order to respond to situations involving dispersion of radioactive materials. It consists of: six advanced ambient and four underwater radiation dose measurement stations; two online automatic Aerosol Monitoring Stations (AMS); one CTBTO atmospheric radionuclide's monitoring station for nuclear testing/verification.
